Compare cars

Pick a track and a condition to see how each car does on lap time, fuel, VE and tire wear. Lower is better in every column.

Explanation

Each number is the median of each driver’s last 10 runs, then the median across drivers. Spins, pit laps and caution laps are left out. A car shows once it has 3 clean laps at that pace; numbers are the median of every driver in the group. A number with fewer than 3 laps behind it stays blank.

A pace group compares drivers of similar speed: lap time as a % of the reference lap, the median of the fastest 10% of drivers in the class. 100% is about alien pace, 101% competitive, 102–103% good, 104–105% midpack, 106% tail-ender, 107%+ offline. The page opens on the signed-in driver’s own group, else on the group with the most drivers here.

The chart reads each clean lap: tire life at the end of the lap (the mean of the four corners), lap time and VE or fuel used, by lap on the tire set. The out-lap is lap 1 on a new set and is left out, so lines usually start at lap 2. A stint on a used set starts at the laps its tire life says it had. Each driver’s last 10 stints count; a point shows once 3 laps are behind it. The dotted tire life line after the last measured lap is a projection at the car’s median wear a lap from the table (else from its measured laps), out to lap 30 or 40% life. The chart and the table use the same class and pace group; the chart counts the drivers with per-lap data, so its driver count can be lower. Click a car in the legend or the table to pick out its line.

Wet conditions use the tire LMU calls for: slicks in Damp, wets from Slightly Wet on. Numbers refresh every 10 minutes. Group scheme after the Ohne Speed LMU lap-time sheet.
